The year is 2401. The Federation is recovering from years of conflict, political uncertainty and threats from beyond its borders. Starfleet has endured, but it has also changed—more cautious, more heavily armed and increasingly aware that the galaxy is not as stable as it once believed.
Yet exploration remains at the heart of its mission.
Beyond the established routes and familiar sectors lie regions that remain poorly charted, isolated civilisations awaiting first contact, unexplained phenomena and dangers that have never appeared in any Starfleet database.
Into that unknown goes the USS Navigator.
