Core Responsibilities

• Provide confidential counselling and psychological support to the USS Navigator’s crew.
• Monitor morale, stress and interpersonal concerns across the ship.
• Advise Command on crew wellbeing and the human impact of operational decisions.
• Support officers following trauma, loss, isolation or difficult missions.
• Assist with conflict resolution and communication between crewmembers.
• Work with Medical on cases involving both psychological and physical health.
• Promote resilience, healthy coping strategies and a supportive command culture.

Role During Live Missions

During live missions, the Ship’s Counsellor supports the crew through stress, fear, conflict and difficult decisions. They may advise Command on morale, help officers process traumatic events or provide insight into the behaviour of unfamiliar individuals and cultures. The role suits a player who enjoys character-driven scenes, emotional intelligence and helping other characters develop.
