Core Responsibilities

• Coordinate the allocation of power, personnel and operational resources across the USS Navigator.
• Monitor shipwide systems and identify conflicts between departmental requirements.
• Advise Command on operational readiness, system availability and resource limitations.
• Work closely with Engineering to manage power distribution and technical priorities.
• Oversee transporters, communications, cargo control and other operational support functions.
• Coordinate with Science, Tactical, Medical and Flight Control during complex missions.
• Maintain an accurate overview of the ship’s status and ensure departments can respond efficiently.

Role During Live Missions

During live missions, the Chief Operations Officer maintains a clear overview of the Navigator’s systems, resources and departmental demands. They help Command decide where power and support are needed most, coordinate responses across the ship and prevent competing priorities from disrupting the mission. The role suits a player who enjoys organisation, systems thinking and linking several departments together.
